Alex Marquez injured in crash-strewn Catalonia MotoGP
Riders Alex Marquez and Johann Zarco are taken to hospital after high-speed crashes at the Catalonia MotoGP in a race won by Fabio di Giannantonio.

He was taken to hospital and subsequently had surgery for a injured clavicle on the right side, with a small C7 vertebrae fracture. A plate was used in the clavicle repair. Gresini Racing stated he was conscious after the crash. Fabio Di Giannantonio took victory. He is expected to miss Mugello and Balaton races.
