Ernst & Young disclosed it has fired two employees after they admitted to accessing the Commonwealth Bank account details of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. Two employees, one junior and one senior, were publicly identified. Police have charged the graduate employee with an offence under the alleged breach. EY has kept quiet about the method the data was accessed or the identity of the other staff member. Neither the AFP nor EY have commented further on the investigation.
