Police have issued dispersal orders in Gorton and Abbey Hey, east Manchester, and an area of Manchester, ahead of Bonfire Night. The orders are in response to concerns over anti-social behavior and pyrotechnic issues in Bolton and Oldham. As temperatures are forecast to dip into single digits across the UK, authorities are stepping up patrols to ensure community protection. The anticyclonic gloom that covered the UK in fog earlier this week is expected to return, adding to the challenges for those celebrating Bonfire Night.
