Quebec recently has pledged five million dollars to grow the Bota Bota floating spa the waterfront spa in Montreal.
The cash is expected to fund a new boat for the fleet. Visitor numbers have been climbing, prompting the move, as reported by local media said. The province still not released any more financial data.
Work is scheduled to start this spring, in the upcoming season, and the new vessel is projected to be operating by early 2027. Officials note the additional space will cut wait times and lift tourism earnings. The expanded capacity is expected to ease congestion during peak days.
