BYD has stopped production of its cheapest electric car after poor demand forced the move. Despite its affordability, sales stayed very low all year, so the company pulled the plug. Currently, no plan has been revealed to replace it yet.
The company then revealed a range of fresh models at a motor show. The range spanned a small city runabout to bigger SUVs and crossovers. Crowds and media in the UK turned out in big numbers to see the new cars on display.
