Caleb Douglas made his NFL debut on Sunday. He and Chris Bell began the game at receiver for the Miami Dolphins in the season opener against the Las Vegas Raiders. Douglas looked shaky at first. Later, Malik Willis connected with him for a 25-yard gain. The Dolphins left their most seasoned receiver off the opener lineup. That put the receiving work in young hands. The team used a youthful receiving group. That group generated interest as potential waiver-wire pickups prior to kickoff. The young group took center stage. Analysts also said the trio could make history among rookie wideouts. Douglas's only reception was recorded for 25 yards.
