Chase Elliott ran into the wall on Sunday at the Brickyard 400. He came home in 26th place. The car sustained a hard impact but Elliott said the damage was minor. Afterwards, Alex Bowman announced he will leave the sport after 2027. Bowman’s exit opens a vacancy that may be offered to Conner Zilisch in 2028. Elliott exclusively spoke about Bowman post crash, without discussing driver reshuffle.
