Produced by Mike Stock, the 80s‑inspired track is paired with a music video filmed on May 9 in an historic music hall, featuring dancers and a nostalgic backdrop that nods to Baker’s enduring career. Following the single, Baker indicated that The Fizz intend to record their fifth collaborative studio album with Stock, continuing a creative partnership that has helped shape their sound.
Beyond the band’s forward projects, Baker continues her solo touring with the intimate show “Wearing Cheryl Baker,” reflecting more than five decades in the industry. In early 2026 she performed at venues including The Lowry in Salford and The Stag Theatre in Sevenoaks, keeping her years of live experience at the fore while the group’s lineup remains anchored by original Bucks Fizz members Cheryl Baker and Jay Aston, with Matthew Pateman and Nikk Mager completing the current ensemble.
