The psychiatrist told the court Clancy heard voices, felt as if controlled like a puppet, and was in a psychotic state. The prosecution is now calling rebuttal witnesses to address the testimony. A prosecution psychiatrist stated under oath that Clancy told her children "go to God" during the January 2023 stabbing deaths of the two young siblings. Clancy has entered a plea of not guilty on the grounds of insanity. The trial is reaching its final stages.
