The private estate nursery is a private estate-operated garden center near Lostwithiel, Cornwall with a 50-year growth period plus ongoing extensions featuring a newer extension, retail space, and an Orangery restaurant. Prince William visited in July 2023 to see the extension, glasshouse, and gardens. Funds from the Duchy support the Duke’s public, private, and charitable activities. Owned by the Duchy of Cornwall, the nursery was originally established to service the nearby Duchy estates until opening its doors to the public in 1975.The nursery has grown a great deal since it began 50 years ago.
