The Scottish Government has pledged a £14m funding package for the refurbishment of Glasgow's People's Palace and Winter Gardens. Total expenses for the museum work now top £50m. The landmark site aiming to re-open the Glasgow museum and gardens has remained closed for an extended time.
BBC and The Herald reported the venue is expected to remain shut until 2029.
