Laika Studios' stop-motion film 'Wildwood' received great reviews, but the studio had a tough weekend at the box office. The movie, directed by Travis Knight, took over a decade to produce, was called a work of art. Even with good feedback, Laika had trouble turning praise into ticket sales. The film succeeded in animation, but its box office results were disappointing.
