Hamilton-born NHL prospect Matthew Mayich continues to stay at an Arizona hospital after falling ill during an outdoor workout. Mayich is an Arizona State hockey player and a selection for the St. Louis Blues. He suffered the health scare while attending a team practice session outdoors.

Arizona State is investigating the collapse of the player. Mayich is presently receiving care in hospital while university authorities examine the circumstances leading up to the outdoor practice. The player remains under medical care in Arizona as the inquiry into the training incident remains ongoing.
