Taaffe started at safety with Zayne Anderson. Dante Trader Jr. was not in the starting pair. The interception came on the opening drive of the half. It gave Miami the ball to start the half. Kirk Cousins later wound up with his third touchdown pass. That gave them a lead of 24-13 at that stage. Taaffe's takeaway represented the rookie's maiden NFL interception of his career.
