Typhoon Saudel moves nearest to Taiwan tomorrow. Authorities put out sea warnings today. The storm stretches over a large area about four times the size of Zhejiang. It hits Zhejiang and Fujian starting tonight. Ten provinces and cities are under warnings for intense downpours. Rain is expected to be severe.
The typhoon has already impacted southern Japan. At least three people were hurt there. Power was knocked out for more than 34,000 households. Government sea warnings and weather alerts continue throughout Taiwan, Zhejiang, Fujian, and ten provinces and cities as the storm comes closest tomorrow.
