Nissan issued a recall for its X‑Trail SUV. The recall covers a fault in the steering column that could affect handling. A 2025 model in gun metallic is available online at about AU$45,000. The 2026 version includes Google integration and an adventure trim. Auto Express reported that the upgrades seem modest in use. Nissan says replacement parts will be provided without a fee.
The company rolled out the Tekton SUV targeted at Indian and African markets. Is set for production at Nissan’s Japanese plant for overseas sales to ship abroad. The debut in South Africa is expected soon.
