Vale vineyard is a small Welsh site where Bernard and Tanya Herbert planted their first vines in 1999. By 2001 the fully planted 10 acres bore fruit, with varieties including Madeleine Angevine and Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay for sparkling wine. The vineyard has no own winery and wines are produced by Three Choirs at Newent. The site remains without its own winery, relying on external production.
