Russell T Davies, the creator of 'Doctor Who' and 'Queer as Folk', has reported being flooded with daily hate messages since making his stance on trans rights known. His advocacy has resulted in similar backlash to Labour MP Tonia Antonazzi's recent push for women-only spaces, which has also faced criticism. Davies' experiences highlight the persistent debates and challenges in public advocacy for trans rights and gender equality.
