UFC heavyweight Tai Tuivasa faced a tough loss at UFC 331. He got stopped in the opening minutes. The loss occurred in round one. It came after a difficult seven-fight losing streak. He had newly linked up with American Top Team. Tuivasa switched camps because he wanted to take advice from new trainers and tweak his preparation.

He trained alongside heavyweight Francis Ngannou for UFC 331. He spent several sessions with Ngannou during camp. But Tuivasa was stopped in round one regardless. The first-round defeat came right after his switch to American Top Team.
