A team mechanic was charged and handed a official card after a mechanical problem with rider Isaac del Toro during Stage 2. Del Toro went on to secure victory in the stage for the squad with a late attack. The penalty was imposed by race officials after the episode. The team announced it will pay the fine and accept the card.
