A separate ruling from another court suddenly changed the Haiti TPS expiration date to Monday. Florida Representative Carlos Gimenez made his position clear. He publicly urged protection for thousands. That support matters because tens of thousands fly under the radar without a decision. On another front U.S. State Department officials repeatedly stated Haiti remains unfit for mass deportations right now.
