An American Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Baltimore. A passenger was restrained with duct tape. He was identified as Arthur Lundeen. Witnesses said he was strapped to a first-class seat after a violent hate-filled outburst.
Other passengers helped hold him down midair. Photos of the scene circulated widely on social media. Reports say Lundeen shouted abuse and became belligerent. The plane was diverted to Baltimore and landed safely. American Airlines said it was working with authorities. No further details were released.
