Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy relieved Prime Minister Svyrydenko and sought a security overhaul amid tensions. Svyrydenko announced his resignation after months in office. Ukraine pointed to new combat victories as a reason to push ahead on defence and governance changes.
Zelenskyy also joined ten countries in Paris to launch an ballistic‑missile shield throughout Europe. The group vowed to tighten regional defenses as Kyiv reports a swing in its favor.
