From Almost Quitting to Hank Aaron Award Finalist, Jake Bauers

Jake Bauers, first baseman for the Milwaukee Brewers, was close to walking away from Major League Baseball before making the call to stick with it. That decision has proven to be the right call.

Bauers is now one of the nominees for the Hank Aaron Award, awarded every season to the top offensive player in each league.

The Brewers are now competing in the National League Division Series against the San Diego Padres. Game 3 goes Tuesday, October 7 at 9:30 p.m. ET on FS1.
