Latest News About Saskatoon’s first Legion-hosted fireworks

Saskatoon’s Nutana Legion will host a first ever Canada Day fireworks show. The display will launch from the new venue, on the opposite bank of the South Saskatchewan River, after the city scrapped the usual riverbank launch. The change follows bridge work of the TD Bridge for renovations.

The fireworks will be set off after sunset. The move lets the city maintain the celebration on schedule while ensuring safety. Residents can gather in the park to watch the display.
